Save enough $ for a bayonet and a sling. With PH68s assistance Travis ended up with a really nice WW2 US manufactured bayonet and a WW2 sling.

Even though there is a 10% tax at the South Store, (7% at TMP), it is well worth it to pick out your rifle and get the assistance of the store staff and PH68.

Make sure you have all your paperwork in order and with you.
Thanks a lot for that! I will try and see when he will be down there.

Thanks for that Ivsvs, I didn't see any 150 grain 30-06 on the site? I have some Greek stuff left over from a couple yrs ago.
Would the 167 grain be ok to shoot? Or would I need one of those ported gas plugs from Garand Gear? .........................................

The CMP M1 owners manual says that you can use ammo up to 180grns. (No ported gas plug needed.)
