Default Howdy!

Hello, fellow shooters! Let me introduce myself:

I am a confirmed high-power gun nut who just retired.

Born and raised "not too far from Camp Perry," but due to circumstances beyond my control, I feel the need to spend the rest of my days in warmer climes. (63 years of "Lake Effect snow + blow" finally got to me.) I'd like to be out shooting, instead of running the snow blower!

I am now "in transit" from Ohio to Northern Texas. Quite a chore to be moving my mini-arsenal, but I'll get by.

Hope to contribute some and learn a lot. Thanks for the opportunity!

Welcome to the forum. All this "global warming", you might not have moved

far enough South! Pace yourself in retirement, you don't have to do every

everything you've put off the first week or month. Congrats on retirement.

Regards,
John

Welcome to Texas
Make sure you visit a Texas store first. they have great Texas "stuff"
Like pro Texas bumber stickers, books, kitchen items (no I dont own a store).
I like the bumper sticker:
"I wasnt born here, but I got here as fast as I could"

Yep!

Thanks, guys!
Global warming=Global Baloney! I hear you. I heard it was 28* in Brownsville, TX last week!

P.S.
My last trip to Texas I stopped in the huge Visitor's Center in Texarkana. First thing I bought: huge bumper sticker: "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as quick as I could," and slapped it on my red pickup right then and there!
