Default M1D Scope Mount Value

Hey guys,

I'm looking to pick up a scope mount for my CMP M1D and M84 scope. What would be a fair price for a USGI one nowadays?

Thanks,

Steve

I purchased two this year from a close friend, well-worn but 100% functional, $250 and $275. I'm thinking he could have sold them on the forum for $325 each. A recent ebay new-in-wrapper sample recently sold for $450 plus shipping. Crazy wide range, I know.

Let me know if you want to let go of either of those

In late November 2010, CMP had a few M1D accessories up for sale via the E-Store, picked up a new USGI scope mount for $55. Talk about inflation!

You'd be lucky to find one under $400 today.

I sold one a few months ago for $450 and I thought I started out high because I listed "obo" so I was willing to let it go for a little less. However, it sold within 10 minutes of me posting it on the forum with multiple people interested in just that span of time. But, I did get one for $260 in great condition and even has the cast "M" inside the circle which I know these have direct U.S. origin and were some of the first produced. My suggestion, anything under $500 is good just because them seem to be getting hard to find.

I had been looking for a mount for several months, and ended up getting a nice USGI from a Forum member for $425 shipped. I was happy to find it, as there don't seem to be many out there in the wild.

I bought a variant which was stated to be of Italian military origin for 200$ from a forum member recently, works great and tight and a heck of a bargain, very high quality not repro junk.
