Lots of speculation, but nothing based on fact. Historical timelines, dated parts, and issued after AA rebuild letís my mind run wild.

Since it wasnít freshly rebuilt and saw a good amount of service after AA, I wonder if it was a museum gun after it left active service instead of being rebuilt again and stored for a future war. CMP may know if it came from the museum box, but other than that, I donít know thereís any way to find out.

The patina is like a well worn leather jacket. I like that look. It wreaks of history. Iím the transferring FFL. It belongs to a friend. Maybe he will forget about it......not likely. ��
