Default Blued bolt?

I have never seen an original finish blued round bolt. Anyone have any pics so I can tell between blue and black park.?

mto, not trying to be a smarta$$, but the blue bolts look like gun blue and be smooth finish. However, park will vary in color, depending on when they were parked, who did the park and what chemicals were used. All park will be rougher. You may want to apply a small amount of pure gun oil - the blue will be shiney and the park will absorb the oil and look wet.

Don't know if that helps, but it was a try...

Here is a blued AOB round bolt feb/march '44 IBM receiver:

Depending on the light it looks dark blue almost black.
