He is also including 2 boxes of PrVi brass cased ammo so you could say price is $560 for the Carbine.....Sure would like to get it all for $500 rather than $600 but I'm pretty sure he'll scoff at that.

I've read the Israeli's maintaned their carbines well. Some nice examples are starting to surface.
The way I look at import stamps is that it's part of the rifles history.
Unless they are stamped so hard the barrel is damaged.

Hammer is Inland...

As far as Grenade launchers are concerned, yes, the carbine could mount the M8 grenade launcher, however a lot of references say the stock was too light weight for it really. From the research I've done, the grenade launching often cracked the stocks, though I don't know how accurate that is. I'm looking for more info now to either confirm or debunk that.

Thanks again gentlemen! So it seems no diamond in the ruff here, just another mix master. At least it appears to have the original barrel and correct NPM bolt.

So the consensus here is, even with import mark, $600 is a fair price but not necessarily great, for this particular piece?

I didn't know M1 Carbines were used to launch grenades until a couple of years ago when I bought a box of M1 Carbine grenade-launching cartridges as part of a lot in an auction.
