Default CMP New Wood Stock.

I want to replace the Fat 70 stock I got on my NPM Carbine and I need a new Carbine stock to use for reenacting (so it looks newer, like how it left the factory and I don't want to ruin my original) I got a Service Grade M1 Garand that came with New CMP wood and it looks nice, but has anybody ordered the new CMP Carbine wood and how does it look on the carbine? I see the pictures on the stock page, http://www.thecmp.org/stocksets.htm but I want to see how it looks on a Carbine, so if anybody could share that would be great.

-Thanks.

I have CMP wood on one of my Winchesters, very nice grain and the stock is nicely dimensioned in the I cut configuration. The wood is treated with something that sheds BLO and I do not want to sand to remove it. Nice stock that is new and looks it. I am not enough of a compuker person to post photos. Mikey

Have one on a ROCK-OLA. Looks good and fits great. Sorry no pics here either.

Well still helpful info. If I'm going to be reenacting as a WWII soldier I don't want 60 year old wood, that just won't look right haha. Don't want to ruin good original wood either.

-Thanks for the info.
