Default Can anyone identify this sight



I know the rear sight it is a Williams but the Front sight looks different...

Is that writing I can barely see on the right side top? Or just a reflection?

it looks like Williams....

But on their website I can't find a pix of the front sight.

why would someone replace the original Carbine sights??

Its an aftermarket sight. Could be a mild Sporter modification or someone thought those sights were better.

Couple reasons right off the top:

For some people, a smaller rear aperture and a thinner front blade are more accurate.

Perhaps it was a BR and those sights were on hand until such time the "real" thing could be acquired.
