Default Paratrooper Stocks are a pain in the ?

Paratrooper Stocks are a pain in the face??

I found a repro paratrooper stock packed away in some of my stuff the other day and remember taking it off one of my carbines years ago but couldn't remember why. Well I put the folding stock on a carbine I recently built and now I remember why I packed it away in the first place. The stock hurts my cheek bone when I shoot it! Is this normal for everyone who shoots the para stock of am i just a pu$$y with a weak cheek?

Yep I got it from sarco years ago. If you have a nice walnut carbine stock I might trade you.

Nice piece of walnut to go on my carbine in place of the trooper stock. Manufacturer isn't important but prefer usgi.

For shooting purposes, the standard wood carbine stock is so much more comfortable to shoot than a M1A1 carbine. I have not shot repro M1A1 stocked carbines but shooting the real M1A1 stock is no joy.

But... having a life time chasing real M1A1 stocks and owning many, if one wants a M1A1 carbine to shoot , buy a repro M1A1 stock and have at it.
