Target paste

Hi what do you use and how you mix up the Target paste at Perry? Thanks

Not sure what they use at Perry. Its propably just wallpaper paste, flour, sugar and water. Look online for home made wallpaper paste. The instructions and ingredients are easy. Eddie

The paste is Viscogel 1030 made in Holland. I believe it is the same paste used for billboards. I do not know who the supplier is.

Kinda wish there was a better system. Last year I saw People not replacing targets because they didn’t feel they had time to use the paste for a new target. It’s just enough of a step when being rushed to not want to do it for some. I had tk rush to get mine pasted because I was the last in line and was scared it wouldn’t stick well.

Wish they would quit saying "if you want to" replace your target. It's the national matches, everybody deserves a clean target face, regardless of how many rounds the last shooter put in the black. I believe shooters would appreciate another minute delay for a fresh face, or target repair etc.

Staples aren't used because staples pull out in the wind and the repair center will never lay flat like it does when you paste it. Plus it takes lots of staplers and staples and it's easy to poke/cut yourself when you are handling the targets (pit pullers and the NG kids at the end of the day).
