How many are taking their COVID bonus to the store or ordering another piece on-line when CMP opens back up?

gunny, great topic ! A small portion is definitely going to something firearms, ammo or bow related. Then do something nice for the grandchildren. Stay healthy out there. Dana

Well, that's what they sent them to us for, isn't it?

Trump haters started a rumor that Trump called them all back so he could send a paper check with his name/signature on it. Fake news. Mine direct deposited to my credit union this AM.....Hopin' CMP will have some more nice IHCs in the South Store when they reopen. I "need" another one.

I've had the money I need for RGN 131xx set aside for quite awhile. I am actually enjoying the extended anticipation time period. I am good with the CMP taking as much time off as they need to be safe. It's not like I need any more motivation to stay alive, but for me waiting for a CMP 1911 is just one more positive item to add to my reasons to stay alive column .

The stimulus will be split between the Longmont Humane Society, some more ammo (always) and savings.

Good Luck Everyone

Not only am I not getting the $1,200 stimulus check, I got my taxes back from the account today and I owe about 20 grand. I'll still find a way somehow to pay for my 1911 when they reopen.

Well if you didn't make so much money you wouldn't have to pay so much in taxes. That sounds like what happened to me in 2008. Paid in 18K and the IRS sent a letter demanding another 13K. Error was on their part and not mine. This year I get back about half of the stimulus check. That will cover the 1911 that should be coming one of these days. And if I didn't get the check, it wouldn't affect me. One of the advantages of being retired. Income doesn't vary much year to year.
