Unhappy

I'm jealous! You guys got a let someone else have a chance!

Seriously, just finished my coursework for hunters ed, filled out paperwork and had it notarized, mailed the day I finished the course . . .only to find out my order for my first Carbine will likely not be filled. Then to see the abundance of Carbines here . . . ugh. Painful.

Most of them from October 2009:

Manufacturer/Source - Grade/ Serial No. Range
Inland - CMP SG - 123K
Inland - CMP BR - 402K
Winchester - DCM/NRA - 1.15MM
Rock-ola - CMP SG - 1.71MM
Underwood - CMP SG - 1.38MM
Standard Products - CMP RG - 2.03MM
IBM Corp - CMP SG - 3.68MM
Saginaw SG CMP RG - 3.58MM
National Postal Meter - CMP RG - 4.14MM
Quality Hardware CMP SG - 4.83MM

The QHMC SG is back is in a M1 Stock.

Bavaria Forest Police RG (Inland 2.91 MM)

Saginaw SG 3.46 MM Barreled Receiver and M1A1 Stock that I built up last Christmas.

One of the last Inland RGs received in February 2010 (6.89 MM) - mostly correct for a 1945 mfg except the flat Rock-ola bolt.

Not in any picture is a really nice (More SG) 4.74 MM QHMC RG that sits up at my farm in VT to avoid carrying my M1 Carbines through NJ.

I originally posted this around Christmas time; I'll share it again for this picture thread. I added an S'G' and a racker NPM since this pic; an S'G' SG order was rec'd on 2/19 and will hopefully make the CMP cut.

I guess you have more than me because you are older and live closer to the North Store. Between the two of us - we could arm the Clifton Sprague security force.

It is a really nice collection.

The amount of carbines you guys have are proof that you guys are sick and should really get a life. So pack up all those guns and send them to me - I will even buy you a checkerboard so you can take up a healthier hobby...

And I had thet much spare cash I would probably need some help with a carbine addiction, too!!!

Great collections guys

Thanks Rob, you have a great looking group there also! We're fortunate to be able to preserve these historical firearms.
