Default Identify this stock vendor for me with little information.

Was at a gun shop and the guy had a number of fairly nice USGI stocks for sale.

The price was out of question! Outrageous.

He wouldn't tell me his supplier of course. I do know he gets them ONLINE.

I want to cut out the middle man and get them from the source.

Based on this tiny bit of information, who could the vendor be:

Vendor sells many.
Stocks are lightly cleaned "restored"
Matching handguards are included.
Handguards are attached to the stock with clear Saran Wrap.
Small label on stock with computer printed description.

Hopefully the Saran Wrap and the label bit will jog someones memory????

are the cartouches nice and bright, deep and defined or light, worn or missing as an original used stock would have?

Not trying to take a shot, but if anyone asks me where I get my inventory from, I would not tell either.

Markings are original and worn or faint.

They are reconditioned/restored stocks but honest and the vendor has them in quantity.

Dupage has been out of USGI stocks for years.

They are not Whatacountry because I believe he does not do anything to his stocks.

probably another load from Korea that someone bought. 2 years ago a guy in Nashville (Korean gentlemen and his wife so they had connections over there) bought boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and started to sell them at gun shows. I bought a few the first time I met him and eventually went up to his place (a martial arts studio) in Nashville to go over the stocks. I ended buying about 35-40, 1/2 of them were M2 stocks. The M2s were strictly for re-sale as many of the m1 stocks. There were many gems, especially in the beginning that needed a lot of cleaning, etc. Had to go thru hundreds and hundreds of stocks to find them. I scored an IP highwood (not in great shape) and other highwoods, some that were in very good condition. I sold many of the stocks and all of the M2 stocks, doubled my money and kept about 6 or 7 stocks for myself!! I would say that 50+% of the stocks he had were trash. I suspect the same scenario, someone bought a load and took the time to clean and get the most value out of them.

The stocks you describe sound like a bunch that were at the Tulsa show this year. Did they have M1 stocks too? One of the guys indicated they had a bunch of them and I think they were out of Arizona. No indication of where they came from. They did the refinishing on them.

I’m not sure where online he gets them. J&G sales maybe?? They sell bulk stocks but they are advertised as M2.
