Default 10/21 NS Report

Arrived just before 8:30 only one person ahead of me, the usual suspects were in today

Lots of drill rifles, none with good cartouches, couple with lockbars but they had bad welds. Drill 03a3s
Usual FG/SG M1Cs
Rack/FG M1ds
Bunch of Winchester specials, some had really nice heels

Jim said they had about 380 spam cans left of 30-06 in enblocs
They have not had a truck since the national matches

Ended up getting a few slings and a can of ammo

Couple guys came though while I was there I believe I saw 1 Winchester a drill and a FG m1d leave

Further update: I really didn't want to leave empty handed and almost convinced myself into a FG M1C the only one there with a matching base. But it had Greek black and the stolck was pretty rough so I had to pass. The 03a3 drill rifles are very rough. There were 3 racks of m1 drills about half of one for the air rifles, cloth and leather sling boxes were pretty full. Found 2 nice ones with mrt 1952 on them lightly. On the Winchester special front there was two racks of them and as I said I found quite a few of them with perfect heels. There was one palindrome Winchester special but it didn't have the nicest heel.

I was the Winchester special and the M1 drill rifle . My Win. Spl has some nice burl in the butt stock. The M1 drill has an unwelded OP way and an uncut op rod. Jan.1940 build lots of early parts. Racks were mostly full ,picked out 3 nice marked slings (most 52-53's). Nice chat with the guys. 26-t
