I think I found a possible scammer that replied to my IHC reciever wtb. The username is anaml2 and it has 0 posts and it is a recently created account.

B747crew I said the same thing on a Ruger Forum and was told that G-mail was used all the time and not just by scammers . every one needs to be smart .

I just received a private message from "razzi_p" about my WTB ad. Googled his name and found this: https://forum.full30.com/t/warning-s...he-loose/11654 so it looks like this isn't the only place he's trying to rip people off.

Yep, same guy sent me a PM related to my WTB ad, but since he has 0 posts I pretty much assumed he might be a scammer, so thanks for the heads up.

Yes, confirmed scammer and he’s been removed.
Zero posts isn’t always an indicator...some folks end up in the approval queue for some time where they can PM but not post...though doesn’t hurt to ask.

If you received a PM from him, delete. If you get an email from any of the following email addresses, delete:

Received a PM from kscott174 about a want to buy. No access to the user, no posts and a March join date. Referred me to a friend, Smith Blake with an AOLemail, with a rifle I was looking for. Friend sent pics of a rifle that was nothing like what I was after and pushed me to send money. I wanted an H&R, he sent pics of a 4 digitSpringdield and claimed to be the original owner. Ended up getting a call from Minnesota, the guy claimed to be in Texas.

Seems like a scam to me, be aware if he messages you.
