There seems to be some derangement syndrome that takes affect when people start bidding on CMP auctions.

This seems to be a whole new level of CMP auction premium. Nice to see the big bucks going to the CMP, maybe if the vault becomes overstuffed they’ll make a mirror of Talledega out west. I’d love to see a CMP shooting fascility within a half day drive for everyone in the lower 48. Thanks to all those that replied.

JA (Johnson Automatics) barrel indicates rebarrelled for WWII. This one has me puzzled as well.

it remains to be seen if the winning bidder actually pays for the rifle or if it gets relisted.
