Yeah, I knew RIA was a rebuild but I did not know there were stamps in the sling well so thank you! What is high vs low wood? Something to do with the fit I imagine. It does have a poly coating on top of the wood. Not sure if I will keep that on there to protect the wood since it is on there already or take it off and add BLO. All comments welcomed to help me learn about these things. How did I do? Ideas on value?

You have the much rarer high wood stock....scroll a bit down the page of this link and you'll learn about the differences:

I'd pay $950 for that carbine if I saw it in person and could check out everything...and the uniform finish and rebuild mark are a real bonus to me. The one thing that is kind of odd is that I'd expect to see a different mag catch and safety on your rifle as those were mandated upgraded parts when a carbine went through a rebuild to my knowledge. The stock also adds quite a bit of value to your overall package as BR-B is the code marking for an IBM stock made by Milton Bradley Company. In this market, you could already turn around and sell it for a profit imho.

Personally, I wouldn't touch a thing that wasn't broken...outside of replacing the critical springs.

I think it's an awesome carbine, and would love to own it

There's another one there that's an Underwood with an Underwood barrel. If anyone wants to know where the store is PM me.
