Thumbs up

Back in the mid to late '70's during my LE days, I loaded my S&W 2" M-36 off-duty weapon with the first two being Glasers backed up by three Win. 158 gr. LSWCHP's (old FBI load then).

Thankfully I never had to call upon my choice in an actual situation.

But I guess your talking rifle rounds?

I have not used the Glaser, but I have used their Cor-Bon .30 Cal Carbine hunting round while deer hunting with success. I posted the ballistics from the company and pictures of the bullet that was recovered.

Have never shot anything/anyone with them even though I have them in several handgun calibers. I don't carry them, they just sit in the ammo cans. Reason being is from most ballistic tests that I have read they don't perform very well. Some Cor-Bon's on the other hand seem to perform quite well.

I'm not quite sure what is meant by 'use' here.

I carry Glaser Blues in my Star PD (.45ACP), with a backup mag of Speer 200gr 'flying ashtray' HPs.

I've fired about a dozen 6-packs of the Glaser Blues through my PD. Luckily, the point of impact of the 200gr HP and the 140gr Glaser Blue is the same point at 7 yards.

However, I've never shot anyone with the Glasers.
