Default CMP 1911- Restrictions on auction purchases?

I was wondering if the rules apply for possibly buying on the auction a second time for the 1911. From what I read, you can only win one and not multiple going on... am I allowed to go for a second one now that some time has passed? Thanks!

What was told to me from the young ladies at the CMP 1911 side of the house is “One per lifetime”. So to answer your question, no you cannot get another one.

Online you can read in the 1911 section for buying the pistols it explains everything in detail including you can only buy one per lifetime For now.

The latest information on the 1911’s will be posted on this page. We are not accepting orders for 1911s at this time.

CMP 1911 is an FFL-governed operation and has its own record keeping operation with no ties to existing CMP records. Every applicant will be treated as a new customer.

If you have already purchased a 1911 whether from the previous Random Number Generator system or the Auction site, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PURCHASE ANOTHER 1911 at this time.

It is surprising to still see significant bidding competition on the 1911 auctions. It would seem that having 31,000 plus prior buyers ineligible to bid would reduce the competition and impact the prices.
