Central Florida Rifle & Pistol near Orlando has highpower events. Havn't shot on their rifle range, I think it's only 300 yrds., but I've shot some pistol matches there, nice facility and folks.

If the Space Coast/Palm Bay isn't too far, Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club has full XTC matches and mid range to 600 yrds. I don't know of other Florida ranges with 600 yrds & military style pits. The first Saturday of each month we have a 200 yrd vintage rifle match. I'm the vintage match director, we'll be on the line Saturday January 3rd. Come on out if you'd like.

I know it's an old post, but they will be starting 600 and XTC up again at Camp Blanding in Starke in Sept. It's being run by the Florida Sports Shooting Assoc. http://www.flssa.org/
The website is out of date, but their Facebook page is current.

I just learned recently that the target carriers at our club, Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol, came from Camp Blanding. When they upgraded many years ago, they offered us the old but functional carriers. And they still work great. We were lucky to have members with connections to Camp Blanding.
Here they are today in their second life, and they get lots of up & down time!

They must have only updated some of the carriers, because those look just like the ones on the range we use. I just left Camp Perry and I think these old ones are easier to use!

The firing line at Camp Blanding is (was) over a mile wide. I believe it was the largest range in the world during WW2. Only a small portion is still active.
