Default What's my gorgeous IHC worth?

I'm in the process of thinning some of my M1 that I can't bring myself to shoot and would like an honest assessment on what my IHC is worth in today's market so I can price it fairly. From the older gentleman I bought it from told me he acquired it from the DCM but lost the documentation. Thanks!

Hard to get the price you want without documentation. Send the lady at the south store $25, and she will send you the papers.

Welcome back Juanito!

You probably want to post a picture of the IHC Julian date stamp in the barrel channel if there is one. If you posted one I missed it.

$950-$1450 assuming it has the right stock, maybe a little more. Its a nice rifle with good parts. The CMP is currently selling IHC's, but after they run dry the price will increase. JMHO.

depends, is it correct or mixmaster, IHC or commercial stock? No way to give any kind of accurate estimate without more info and good close up pictures

Pictures seem pretty good on my computer, though a Julian date picture would be helpful.

Werent any pictures showing when I posted. How about internals are they IHC?
Nice looking rifle
If all IHC Correct I would ask $2500, market is soft now so that may be a stretch. Might be best to put it on Gunbroker

It could have been sold as a collectorgrade. I would contact cmp for a record search.

If this is a DCM rifle, I don't think they listed a grade on the paperwork--at least the DCM paperwork for my IHC, purchased in 1984, doesn't show any grade info.

Just purchased a 1995 DCM Garand and the paperwork shows "Condition B, Service Grade".

However, what they did in 1984 may have been different.
