Are you trying to say shooting a garand in a competition requires marksmanship?

No...never. Some people dont like the Games matches, I get it. In a dying discipline, more shooting is a good thing.

Everything changes over time and many things/activities/whatever, disappear all together. We can only do the best we can to keep shooting sports alive today. Hard to say how many will be shooting XTC, Leg matches, Presidents 100, F Class, Small bore, local JCG matches etc. or any firearms, in say 50-100 years from now. May become damn near impossible to do recreational shooting in the future, for numerous reasons, non good. Everyone now needs to do as much as they can to keep things alive and well and new young shooters entering the firing line, or even just plinking somewhere.
