Default Lack of Field Grades?

I was at the North Store this past Friday and noticed that there werent many field grades out at all. I'm curious if the supply is dwindling or if they were pulled due to the fact that field grades are now in stock?

I would look into a Service Grade after the price increase. Get them while you can! There were some nice ones!

A week ago Saturday (1-7) There appeared to be a lot of field grades. I was there for SG shipment but the FG are most fun to search through..Like Forest Gump says "You never know what ur gonna get"

Yes at the mild price increase..The SG are nice. I am currently working on stocks and will post pics on the 3 nice ones I brought home.

The FG's at the SS last week were thrashed. HRA for the most part. Very rough wood and worn & dinged crowns. Hope things change for my visit next month.

I saw the HRA's (I was there this past Sat. as well) but didn't see anything worth taking home. You must have beat me to it .

I was in the NS the 1st of Jan. and "Me tinks" they are pushing the more expensive rifles. It also appears that they are "building" service grade SA's, as many of them have HRA stocks, bolts, trigger groups, sights, etc. And, if you look carefully, you will find HRA's with many SA parts, so buy one of each and do the swapping......

The current group of SG's while nice are with as Orest said a 80% chance of replacement wood, way over priced, you are going to spend somewhere around 100-200$ for GI wood to get them to the place where they were at cheaper prices, thats 800$ for a SG with Gi wood that i use to buy for 495$ and recently went for 595$ with GI wood,
