I met up with a friend of a friend to test fire and purchase my first Garand at the South Berwick Rod and Gun club. Pretty nice setup there.

Boy spydr1 you can't get much further north than St. David. There are few ranges in that area I would guess. The NRA affiliate here in Maine is the Pine Tree State Rifle & Pistol Association and they do have a web site. Just google it and take a look. They used to have postal matches both in pistol and air rifle but haven't checked lately. Was told that they were thinking of having a 50' small bore postal this year. Check it out.
