Default Rimfire Dewar Match? ?

Someone explain this (Rimfire Dewar match). It appears to be part of the Rimfire Sporter weekend. I find very little on the CMP website other than in the RF Sporter sign-up page. Looks like you could shoot it and the Rimfire Sporter event on sunday?? Good Shooting. ....

A Dewar match is part of the course of fire in Smallbore prone matches. In conventional prone matches the first part of the Dewar is 20 record shots fired at 50yds, the second part is 20 record shots fired at 100yds. The conventional prone match course of fire each day is 50yd, 50meter, Dewar, and finally 100yds. A one day match is called a 1600. A two day match is called a 3200 with one day shot with aperture sights and the second day any sight aka scope day. A four day course of fire is called a 6400 with two days aperture sights and two days as any sight/scope days. There is a conventional 6400 prone match being held on Rod this weekend concurrently with the rimfire sporter match on Viale. I am shooting the prone match along with one of my junior shooters this weekend. If you have some free time come check it out, if you have any other questions let me know or if you are there look for the pop up canopy and the York Riflemen flag. I will be the middle aged fat guy sucking down ice water between matches.

Here's what is listed under Competition Tracker:
The course of fire will be 20 shots at 50 yards and 20 shots at 100 yards - 20 minutes per stage. Competitors will be firing on the Smallbore Range (Rodriguez Range) on Smallbore Targets. Competitors may fire a Rimfire Sporter Rifle with a scope ONLY. Competitors must select their relay time.

And it appears there's 2 relay times to choose: either 8AM or 11AM. So depending on when you are scheduled to shoot the Rimfire Match, you could do both.

I think last year it was held for the first time with not too many people participating. But since it fits so nicely with the Rimfire Sporter it make total sense to do both. I signed up. It sounds exciting.

I really enjoyed the Dewar match this year. It was completely different and complementary to the Rimfire sporter. Very nice atmosphere too. Will be back next year
