Default New Meat from Connecticut

I have found myself on a very slippery slope. It started last fall after shooting with friends. Bought a M44 Mosin-Nagant, built a M4orgery, purchased four LTRs and attended 2 Appleseeds with my wife and 2 daughters. Now I'm having impure thoughts about getting a M1 Garand for everyone in the family. Any advice would be appreciated.

Don't forget to stock up on ammo for those M1s.

It is indeed a "slippery slope"! This time, last year, I was waiting on my first two CMP rifles - a service grade Rock-ola carbine, and a service grade HRA. Well, a year later, I'm happy and proud to own 5 Garands and 3 carbines, moooocho ammo and other goodies. And I'm still, hungrily, "feeding at the trough"! I find myself "needing", just "one more", of something! It's a fun ride, get em while you still can, there is a bottom to this well of fine rifles.

Talking Hmmmmm

A Garand for each "Member of the Family" ? I like that rational! It will more than likely lead to: A WWII Garand for each member of the Family, then a Post War for each member of the Family, followed by the ever popular, one of each make for each member of the Family. The Slope is "Self Lubricating" BTW
ENJOY THE RIDE !
