Default New Old Guy from Cali

I've been wanting an M1 forever and finally got around to pulling the trigger so to speak just last month. Received my CMP Special and I am one jazzed old man! Shoots better than these old eyes can. CMP rocks!
Now if the rest of my fellow citizens here in Kalifornia can just get it together enough to get ourselves and our state out the mess we're in everything will be just fine. Hope I live long enough to see it happen!

Thanks for having me!

We're paratroopers, son. We're supposed to be surrounded!

Default Welcome

Just got my SA service grade last Wednesday. If we could get the whole state out shooting, people would realize how much fun guns can be. We need to shoot more and ban less.

Mine came in yesterday and its my first. oh my...to hold the same rifle my g. father carried through france gives me a sense of pride and history. to be able to own my own m1 is a honor! cant wait to save some cash to get another for my son to eventually get handed down to him.

your right, we have to get out and when was the last time we took some newbie out to shoot? the more people we take out the closer this state will get from hopeless.

Hello from El Centro, California!! I'm also new here, I just got my SA Service grade M1 Garand and when I opened the box, I couldn't believe my eyes, this is MY own piece of U.S. history, right before my eyes and beautifully preserved and mantained. I took it to a local gunsmith/FFL and he offered me $1,000.00 for it...sorry, no can do. Now I have to clean it and take it to the range, I will post the photos here later.
