Default Maker of Type 4 safety

Please tell me who made the rotary Type 4 safety marked with what looks like "S" with a wide central portion. Did Inland use this safety?? I presume this is a post-WWII safety - correct.

The use of rotary safeties was approved in Mar 1945, the MWO to upgrade carbines to the rotary safety was issued 10 Dec 1947. Late Inland and Late Winchester carbines were produced with the type IV but the ones Inland used were coded EI of AI. Generally speaking the SS marked safeties are post war replacements, but there have been some 6-7 mil serial # block Winchesters observed with this safety on them.
