Default Is it safe to....

Is it safe to ask about numbers for those of us who still donít have one?

The January and March sales updates essentially implied we would all have our number by the end of March.

http://thecmp.org/cmp_sales/1911-information/

I know the hip thing lately has been to delete threads inquiring about numbers so I reached out to a couple of Mods recently seeking insight and neither responded. So Iím left to post here. Hopefully this thread wonít vanish.

I get it Iíll probably never see a 1911 through this program which is fine but when you have folks this deep into the process who havenít heard a thing it makes you go hmm...

Am in similar boat. Not calling or emailing. Have a "be cool & maintain radio silence" kind of vibe while I hang out and enjoy the forum and coming spring. Life really is good.

I am also in the same boat. I know the packet was received by CMP 1911 Sales. My brother and I mailed packets from the same UPS store and he has received his 1911A1. I am sure that they will be letting us know one way or the other. CMP 1911 Sales is doing their best. So I wait like others.

Hopefully the mods will allow this to stay open and CMP will reach out to you all individually as in my case this morning.
