Default national match doesnt have NM sights?

Just noticed that, or did the photos get mixed?

I assume you are talking about the aperture? It does but it's not the hooded type.
Aperture is NM and 595 marked as stated in description. This was the earlier type NM aperture.

The hooded sight didn't come around until 1962. 1953-1961 NM rifles had a closer to normal looking aperture that was marked "NM595" on the front/top.

The description and pictures indicate this rifle was a Greek MAP return. I certainly don't deny the use and application of the non-hooded .595 aperture in interim NM M1 Garands.
