Got people educating in a for sale post and others interested in a high dollar rig that can't read the obvious. Wow, what's this forum coming to?

no, it says "m14 kit (less stock) and receiver". This is grade school grammar 101.

he has: a kit and a receiver. no stock. parentheses make a big difference

I'm very interested in the receiver you have, what manufacturer is it? This sounds like a great kit and I have the perfect stock for it.

Well, I suppose I could have worded that a bit different but there is NO receiver included.

I figured most people understand that an M14 kit doesnt come with one and if it did I would certainly have given information about it.

Secondly, GI barrels are designed to headspace correctly when properly installed on GI specification receivers. Period.

That being said, most reputable M14 smiths' will often lap the bolt lugs to obtain proper contact and headspace. Anyone not checking this is simply flipping a coin anyway.

The stock is now sold by the way. And yes it was a legit TRW and although it was marked "O" I am still not convinced all TRW stocks were marked as such.

Sorry if I offended you, Durney. I could only read your words----not your mind.
