I really didn't have any special request just wanted something that I could shoot. So he picked me up a SA FG 3.79M that has a matching 5/45 barrel. The Gas cylinder finish is worn and the barrel has a 2 me and 5 te. That's what his description of the rifle was. In the pictures I think it looks nice. Now I just have to watch some youtube videos and learn how to take it apart and clean it before I go shooting. I can't wait to get her cleaned up and to the range.

Many thanks to Rob and his patience in finding a couple nice Garands for me. I have a 4.2 mil coming as well as a 1.5 mil in a bit rougher shape.
I feel like a kid at Christmas, knowing the big white truck will show up while I'm at work and leave me a surprise.
You have done us all a great service Rob,
Mahalo,
Charlie

Those are my favorite kind. There are some real gems in the FG racks when they have them.

I guess I need some help. Where on the invoice do I find my tracking number?

I set up a Fed Ex account but I'm going on vacation so I won't be home when my rifles arrive. Need to have them hold them until I get back.

Thanks.

For me it just shows them on the bottom of the invoice. Also I get an email from cmp with the tracking number. Hope that helps

Yes it does. I must not have a tracking number yet. Either that or they are still trying to figure out how the hell their are going to get a couple of rifles to northern Wyoming by Wednesday.

Thanks.

Helped build some rack frames, then helped in shipping. When you check in, never know what may be needed. You could be doing anything from pulling weeds, to general cleaning/organizing, to processing bulk ammo into cans, to helping unpack rifles...just depends on what they need done that day.

I remembered this question yesterday before leaving and double-checked.
The actual, operable air rifles were used Daisy M853s, $100. These are on the CMP Sales website...go to air rifles, scroll down to bottom of the Daisy section, about a 1/4 down the page.
The Daisy drill rifles were $150, and only in-store. There were a handful of them with red condition tags where they were wrapped with duct tape at the forward band/stacking swivel and/or w/o sling..these were $99.99.

I took pictures of the drill rifles but Photobucket is still acting up on my phone.
ETA: See if this works...

Regards,
Rob
