Default Correct HRA 4.6 garand op rod?

What is the Correct op rod for a HRA 4.6 million garand? I see most places say a 6535382 HRA. is correct but then on some forums I see a SA op rod is correct. Is this one of those times when both can be correct?

Fairly early I think. It looks like the whole rifle is correct except a few small parts.

Here is my problem in December last year I received two HRA 4.66 garands and this one is mostly correct including Hart trigger assembly but for a few small parts, that I can tell. The other 4.66 I got evidently has the correct oprod and rear sight but I hate to switch them if I am not completely sure but it sure sounds like you guys are sure.
Ty all for the help

HRA used some WWII SA and WRA small parts along with Operating rods during their start up process. 4.663 is obviously 3000 or so into production so its not right at the start but late enough that it could have a mix of HRA and the earlier parts. I would leave them as they are unless the parts are obvious later post war parts...

Unfortunately a lot of original rifles have been destroyed in the attempt to "restore" them and make them "correct" JMHO

Yes I read that and that is why I was afraid to switch anything. So do I leave the oprod and rear sight alone? It looks like a couple of the internals are SA.

I would leave it as it is but that is just me. If you want to take some pics and email them to me (or just post them on here) I (we) might be able to give you a better assessment...
