If the piston on your op rod is well in spec it should be fine

Just noticed Dupage has the $25 handguard sets back in stock. I received two sets from them last week. One set matched well and had no cracks. The second set matched ok and had a cracked rear handguard. The crack was hairline small and easily repaired with superglue. Without doing anything else to them they should look great on a field grade or a lower end service grade.
