Default Birthday present for a Marine

Trying to decide what to give a 49 year old Marine for his birthday.
Standard builds have worked in the past, but my son is looking for something scoped. Well, digging around the shop and putting things I think he might like I came up with this.
All Bula XM21 CBR with Leupold VXR-Patrol 1.25 - 4 in a composite stock with Harris bipod. Can't wait to see the look on his face when he gets this one.

That's one I put together Josh with parts mostly from last year at Camp Perry.
Stock came home with me this time. I have a half dozen of that model Leupold scope so I know they perform.
Put the same type scope on the new BDX 450 that you are familiar with.
Can't wait to see the expression on Sean's face.

He’s going to love it! I’m going to put myself up for adoption. Those stocks are starting to grow on me

If it is coming from you, it will be an excellent rifle. Well done!

Yep! That's a gift fit for a Marine. The only things he might enjoy more are not proper for polite conversation. Great rifle!

Happy son Sean and I packed up the truck for his trip back to Maine today.
We managed to shoe horn an old bush hog in the back. Should help in maintenance of his acreage up North.
