Could someone tell me if this years allotment if over or are they still working on them? The reason I ask is that from what I gather guys have been posting that the CMP calls them first. What I'm afraid of is that I receive a lot of spam calls from every state of the union and I may have rejected/ not answered their phone call. Do they also e-mail you as well?
If the allotment is all gone and they get more 1911's will they keep our previous application's and start where they left off or do we have to summit another application? Sorry for the long winded post but I'm unsure how this will proceed. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. |

We will attempt to call 2-3 times then will send an email giving the person 5 business days to respond. We are still in the process of notifying everyone of their RGN number. This may take until the 1st of April. Our calls are from a 256 area code. We will fill all 19,000 orders before we open the order process again, of course this depends on receiving additional pistols.

The information you ask for is available in existing posts. There are folks here that can probably provide links. My understanding: The process is still going on. Some early reports of calls without emails-more recently email with assigned random number followed by phone up to 90 days later to collect payment info. All current applicants (reportedly 19,000) will get RGNs. When the current allotment of pistols (reportedly 8,000, conservatively 6,500-7,000) will be sold the current applicants stay in line waiting for the next allotment-if it comes.
Again, my understanding from what I've gleaned from trolling here for the last 6 months. LHS |
