Was there today in the afternoon, 03A3s gone by then. Some wra and Ihc field and service grade. Not a lot of USGI wood. Some LMR barrels on the IHC's that I looked at and no wra barrels on the WRA's I looked at. Plus the usual racks and snipers.

i was there first thing yesterday morning... daughter and i were 6th in the door... of all the IHC and WRA service and field.. all were hackberry or cmp stocks.. NONE had WRA barrels (i didnt look at the IHC personally) i picked out a 109,xxx WRA receiver but that was the only WRA on it. CMP wood. 52 SA barrel.. i just couldn't pull the trigger on a pre ww2 gun that had no usgi wood on it..just couldn't spend 1k on something that was really not collectible. and also for the second time NCIS delayed me (did same in november when i bought 1903's from the NS..i know its not CMP's fault but figured when i added in the disappointment of no usgi wood and now be forced to ship it to me (took 3 weeks last time).. i should just consider it a bad omen and walked away... yes the 1903's were rushed and the WRA's were rushed and blocked to look at until the guys in front of me looked to see if they had WRA barrels.. yea i buy to collect not to resale so i guess first come first served regulars did what they do... now i guess i just look forward to the 1911's.. hope this report helped.
