Default $85 Air Rifles

Do they have any of the Daisy 853 $85 Air Rifles? I want to get four of those to start a 10 Meter team with my scout troop. I can't find them online. I bought one during the rimfire sporter clinic this summer.
Thanks
John

I think they only had the $100 Monte Carlo stock version when I went to the North Store a couple of weeks ago.

Prices were raised after the National Matches in August.

When I bought the $85 several years ago, it had the standard stock and I had to pick through a box of used, bent rear sights. I ended up ordering a new set of rear sights from Daisy for $15.

When I asked about the price increase on the new batch of MonteCarlo stocked guns at the NS a few weeks ago, I believe she said that they come with a set of NEW rear sights, which would seem to account for the $100 price if they are just passing on the new sight cost. The MC stock really fits better than the old standard style....the MC pistol grip is shaped like a McMillen sniper stock...

I also bought some plastic buttstock spacer pads direct from Daisy, so that might help fit some rifles to the kids....

Are these 'spring' 'pump' or 'co2' powered?

Very accurate and well worth the $100.

Default Air Rifles

Was at North Store on 08-02 they only had 2 on racks. Most likely have more to re stock.
