Default Crimping M-80 like loads?

I've been loading some brass to replicate the M-80 147 grain ball round. I'm using new surplus bulk bullets, CC200 primers and 46 grains of BL-C(2).

I have not set the crimp on my Hornady dies.

Should I go back and crimp them all anyhow (I have a Lee FCD) or just 'choot em?

I've crimpe 30.06 and .308 rounds in the past and found no advantage to accuracy or reliability. I do not waste the time or effort in crimping anymore. Eddie

Crimping is completely unnecessary in reloaded ammo.

I do not crimp any of my reloads for any of my rifles.
