Default ELEY Standard 5k rounds

Anyone have an idea of what other Eley ammo, this ammo is similar too?

https://estore.thecmp.org/Catalog/Item/4C22ELYSTD-5000

I like a lot of the Eley ammo, but not all of it. I don't want to buy 5k only to find out that none of my rifles like it.

Thanks

I don’t have any inside information...but this seems to match the description!

Okay, thanks guys. Really, it's Eley...it can't be terrible! But at that price, I can't see it being equal to Tenex.
I may just have to go ahead and order some.

Hey, look at it this way. They’re not going to dumb down their manufacturing process...they will just sell it cheaper!!

It certainly will not be Tenex. Tenex sells for .45 per round, and the CAMP per round is about 15% of that cost.Bulk package does not offset that difference.

Default Eley CMP

OP,
Look under "smallbore" I posted a test of this ammo using my Anschutz 54. "Accuracy" is different for each shooter but for me and the game of 22 benchrest, gun and ammo combos need to average 5-shot groups at 50 yards somewhere around .2" to be competitive. Not only that, it must put that group in the same place time after time. This particular gun will not shoot Tenex any better than it shot this CMP Eley. I consider this ammo to be excellent practice ammo at this point. I am still working with it to see how consistent I can get it to shoot. Anyway, for what it's worth, my experience with this particular Eley ammo has been very good and I highly recommend it. Take a look at the post for my results. Just FYI.

garandman2014,
Thanks! I just ordered some. Can't wait to see how it does in my new (to me) Anschutz.

Default Is it really Club??

Some people on other rimfire forums are posting that the CMP Eley ammo is showing to be Club, when using the ELEY lot analyser.
