I could use another really good shooting M1, so when I saw a IHC with a nearly new LMR barrel and new commercial wood, I grabbed it. I hope it shoots as well as the HRA Special I have been shooting the last several years. Like the HRA Special, all the metal on it was SA except for the barrel and receiver.

Nice selection of both Win and IHC service grades yesterday. Found a Win in gi wood that followed me out. Looking forward to my next visit today.

I also got a win with a win barrel with proof mark, win bolt, and a RIA proof stock. Measured at 2 2. Just has a SA trigger housing, op rod, and hammer, but very nice.

Picked out a Winchester on the 17th after shooting, there were only two with GI wood on the 16th when I visited after lunch, both pretty nice mixmasters one had a win bolt.

17th they had put out some more and there was quite a few with gi wood, found one with a nice TE3 MW1 winchester bbl so I got that one. Didn't really plan on buying one and avoided future temptation by refusing to visit the store for the rest of the week !

Wasn't really impressed with the $1030 ? IHC's most had CMP wood

Yep ,when I was there 1st day ,a May 1943 Winchester with original finish went home with me , winchester parts barrel 1+ 1plus,slanted oprod, and bolt. Took hra trigger group out and put in Winchester unit with milled wra guard. CMP wood though, but Winchester wood is as rare as hens teeth made out of gold. Went home sold by Winchester mixmaster for $925 with marked leg. It was a great upgrade!!
