Default South Store Report 10/19/2017

My date is wrong in heading which has been pointed out to me, thanks, correct date is 10/19/2017.

There were 10 customers at opening and the racks were full. These were buyers not lookers.

IHC SG 12, FG 5, but after the first rush there were 5 SG and 3 FG remaining.... Didn’t see any IHC stocks after rush.

WRA SG 17, after rush 13. One customer picked up a nice WRA with WRA stock with faint cartouche. No WRA barrels or Win-13’s after opening rush.

SA 6 million, 5

SA Correct WWII 5

Collector post war 1 SA

Drill M1, 3, two were rough.

CMP Specials .308, 7

M1D WRA SG 1, FG 3, RG 4
SA SG 2

M1C SG 1, RG 1

M1 bayonets, none on display but will put 2 out soon as display, new policy is to request bayonet from store staff and they will get one from back.

1/5 large box 6.00 slings.

I want to give a shout out to the ladies that work at the store and do checkouts for customers. They also process all the orders for CMP shipping orders, processing 200-300 daily and trying to answer phone, which rings all the time and they try to keep up with it!!! They are ALWAYS professional, courteous and helpful. Since starting to do the store report I have had the opportunity to meet them all, what a great group of ladies and I would like to thanks them all for the service they provide to us all.

Personal note: Skretchy (Colin) was sharp eyed at a gun show and found me a box of M1 carbine M16 tracer. He contacted me after departing the show and told me about it and then returned to the show the next day to pick it up for me. Thursday at opening I had a chance to meet Colin and pick up the tracers. Very nice young man and I think I owe him a FAVOR!!!

Good luck on your searches

Is there a notary public among this fine group?

Where are the Winchester SGs located in the store? Close to the door? Halfway down?

I was one of the buyers this morning Bought an IHC SG 1/2 with an RIA stock. My first trip to Anniston! Also grabbed a sling and bayonet.

And seconds to the great staff.

They no longer ship rifles but we had a plane ticket back to Florida Sunday so the girls let me ship the gun instead of traveling with it.

If you have all your paperwork the CMP have numerous notaries on staff and will notarize your paperwork..

The IHCs and WRA SGs took a beating today. The store wasnt restocked at closing. There were about 45 rifles remaining of the 75 this morning. Dont think IHCs will be restocked tomorrow and there are about 7 remaining SG and FG, WRAs should be restocked tomorrow and there are about 10 remaining.

Dated (most 1943) 1907 slings (75.00-90.00) and dated (most 1944) M1 slings (35.00) are available. There are about 6-8 of each.

Good luck on your searches.

I was there at open and picked up what I was after a Winchester with a Winchester barrel. I also looked at an IHC that someone saved me from. My wallet thanks you. My heart regrets not grabbing it. I think everyone left happy. Wish I could make it more often.
