Default South Store Report 10/26/2017

There were 12 customers in line at opening and the racks were full. Many of the customers were attending the AMC course and were buying tools.

No SA or HRAís and no USMC rebuilds.

IHC SG 15, FG 1, most had LMR barrels with a few SA 65. Myself and a another regular customer helped a new customer find an IHC, what a find it was. IHC SG 449xxxxx with IHC early stock, #773 with small ordnance stamp, 90% plus were IHC parts with original LMR barrel, lucky young man...

WRA SG 7, no Win-13 or WP barrels.

CMP Specials 8

SA 6 million, 11

M1 Drill, 6

M1D WRA FG 4, RG 2
SA SG 1, FG 1

M1C SG 1, FG 1

Collector post war SA 1

SA Correct WWII, 3

Few 6.00 cotton slings, no WWII slings

Only display bayonet was out.

Good luck on your searches.

Looks to me like the IHCs are the best offerings today. Thanks for the update.

Just a note found out last week that when you buy a gun at the CMP they should let you know that you get a free day at the range.

That is interesting and I have never heard that before. Buy a rifle and go to the World Class range for a day, what a deal!!!

I spent last weekend at the CMP TMP range shooting a Project Appleseed KD event. It is truly a 'world class' facility.

Last time I bought three, what does that get me? Sounds too good to be true.

Default Thursday closing report/ New Information

There were 67 rifles of the 75 at opening. IHC, WRA, CMP Specials and SA six million remain strong. Store wasnít restocked before closing and should be restocked before opening.

Forum member asks me to reconfirm the holiday schedule for holidays and based upon the sign posted in the store my prior post (South Store 10/19/2017 post #17) is correct.

Forum member reported when you buy rifle you get free range day. Asks store staff for details. In the future when you buy a rifle at store you will receive a ticket for a free range day in your paperwork. Tickets arenít currently available, being printed. If you buy rifle prior to ticket availability and you would like a ticket the staff will take your name and address and mail you a ticket when available.

Good luck on your searches.

Don't tell me that! I overpaid for a CMP gun at the store two months ago (overpaid due to 10% state tax) and was planning to go to the range but was literally out of money due to the tax. Is this written down somewhere?
