Default South Store Report 12/14/2017 NEW STOCK

There were 8 customers at opening and others arrived shortly there after. These were buyers not lookers. Racks were full. Numbers are after the opening rush.

Reminder that South Store will be closed from12/17/2017 until opening on 1/4/2018.

There was no report provided from CMP Range Store so rifle availability is unknown.

WRA SG 7, 930.00/FG 2, 830.00/RG 12, 730.00. Few Win barrels, didn’t see any special cartouches and a few Win-13.

IHC SG 12, 1060.00
5.10/SA 63, 4.45/SA55, 4.56/LMR 5/53, 4.446/SA 64, 4.45/LMR 5/53, 4.56/LMR 3/53, 4.58/LMR 1/54, 4.50/SA 63, 5.10/LMR 11/54, 5.10/SA 64 with nice SA GAW stock, 4.45/SA 44, 4.57/LMR 1/54, 4.50/LMR 2/53. Didn’t see any IHC stocks.

SA 6 million, 10, 1200.00

Collector post WWII, 3, 2000.00. There was some question about the serial numbers on these rifle, which are all NOS, unissued. HRA 56505xx, SA 57996xx and 58220xx.

Correct WWII SA, 4, 3000.00

Drill M1, 3, 380.00

WRA M1D, FG 3, 1535.00

SA M1C, 2, 3035.00

BAYONETS are available at store. There has been some confusion about my post that there was only display bayonets. The display is so that customers will know what type bayonets are available. If you want to purchase a bayonet type that is on display advise the store staff and they will bring a bayonet from their storage area for you to purchase.

Full large box of cotton 6.00 slings.

Good luck on your searches.

If that 5.79 SA Collector grade is there on Saturday I am going to have to hurt myself and buy it

Maybe I'll just call it a Christmas present for me

Just a minor clarification: post-war M1 rifles smeared with cosmoline/grease are not unissued. As they left the armory/factory, a dusting of preservative powder was applied and they were dry as a bone (I'm not familiar with the composition of the powder). During the Greek Air Force return "wave" many of the high condition post-war M1s were caked with a cosmoline-like grease. I suspect that the current batch of Collector Grades at the store may be the remnants of the Greek AF returns.

These rifles are dry as a bone and I believe unissued. Only saw a little grease on one bolt, but didnít break them down. It appears to me that they are NOS.

Was this a typo? SA 6 millions were $1200, last time I checked.

Thanks!

Merry Christmas!

You are correct SA 6 million are 1200.00 not 1060.00 as I listed in my opening report this morning. Thanks for double checking me. It has been corrected in the original post. Tom

I don't think I've seen CMP prices come down.

Now, CMP prices going up - that's another story!
