NEW STOCK
There were 12 customers at opening and several others arrived shortly after opening. My numbers are after the opening rush. UPDATE: 1903a3’s, five put out after opening report. Two remain at 11:30, rifles in good shootable condition. Should be rifles daily, but this is a limited release. 650.00 SA 6 million, 10, 1200.00, two had good stock cartouches, JLG and another with EMcF, both had good ordnance wheel stamps. WRA RG, 8, some look to have Turkish stencil stock unit markings. No WRA barrels. IHC FG, 13, 960.00, most have a LMR barrels, but didn’t see any IHC stocks. 1903a3, 2, 500.00, Remington, these are shooters. Don’t think there are anymore. M1 Chrome zero, none in short pipeline. 1903 Drill, 4, 2 SA/2 RI, 275.00 SA Correct WWII, 4, 3000.00 Collector post war 1, SA 5879639, not dry but full of cosmoline. M1D Combo zero M1D WRA FG, 2 M1C SA SG, 2, 3035.00 1/4 box cotton slings Annual CMP limit of 8 rifles of any combination, but there are restrictions on WRA/IHC. You can purchase a SG/FG/RG each year of WRA/IHC and if the store has all three grades in stock you COULD purchase all three in one visit. This may change but it is the current store policy. CMP Range Store Report. No information provided, unknown rifle inventory. CMP Serial Number Search. Recently picked up a M1 HRA and I was told it was CMP rifle, but no paper. Called CMP at 256 835-8455, ext 138 and left a message for Sandy at 0805, received return call at 0835, confirming that it was CMP rifle sold in 2010. They also provide a letter confirming information. First class service, cost is 25.00, great resource. Well done Sandy!!!! If you need a bayonet ask staff and they will get one from the back for you. Bayonets are on display so that you will know what’s available. Good luck on your searches. Last edited by PH68; 01-11-2018 at 11:53 AM. |

I would love to see the stock on the 5.8 Collector grade. I have a pair of consecutive serial numbers that are 61/62 numbers below that. They have consecutive rack numbers. It would be interesting to see if that rifle exhibited the same rack markings.

Good to see you guys at opening. I walked out with NoIHC like I hoped, but I did hang around long enough for Smith Corona A3’s. Got a really good one.

Well I'm planning on stopping by Saturday mourning. I don't really need anything in particular. I just may look over the Winchester rack grades or the 6 millions. Im just thinking about a quick look to see if anything catches me eye. I am excited to the mystery of seeing what will be on the rack

There are 60 rifles remaining of the 75 at opening. Tomorrow’s opening should be about the same as this morning.
More slings were put out this afternoon to include a few stamped and a few WWII. There are more 1903a3’s Chrome rifles available and the 1903a3’s will be restocked before opening tomorrow. There are more Collector grade SA rifles available, ask staff. Good luck on your searches. |
