    Auction price history for m1d, 03-A4 and 1911 .45

I have a CMP, with papers, M1D (M84) and a Scott McDuff eval sheet. I also have an 03-A4 (m84) and an M1911 Remington (1943-1945 manufacture) in 99% condtion with (GI letter G mag). I want to sell these and would like to get a copy of the CMP auction prices for these guns over the past 1-2 years. Thanks

Before proceeding, realize that CMP auction prices are by no means a reasonable measure of market prices.
One has to have big boy britches, and a big wallet to play there and the prices reflect a very niche market/interest, even beyond being an auction program.

You may get on the open market no more than 50% of a completed auction price for many items (recent WRA Garand's are a good example). Though for a M1D as you describe, it is possible to be close to those values...same with an 03A4 with M84 (assuming USGI mount/rings).

Suggest checking Blue Book of Gun Values, or better yet, the Standard Catalog of Military Firearms, The Collector's Price and Reference Guide...believe 8th edition is most current. Also check Gunbroker and other outlets, i.e. - Rock Island Auction, Simpsons LTD, etc, to name a few to get a better canvass of possible prices.

With that said, you can do a search yourself for completed auction prices on the CMP auction site (cmpauction.thecmp.org). It only has data going back a couple of years, and there is no data remaining from the old auction site.

Here are the M1Ds that have been on auction...

Here are the listings for 03A4 rifles (with and w/o scope)...
    http://cmpauction.thecmp.org/advance...rch=Go#results

And there have been no 1911's or 1911A1's auctioned off on the CMP auction site...

    Good luck,
    Rob
