Good groups at 50 yards with a particularly nice 3 shot clover leaf with the edges touching shooting HXP ball from the bench at 50, but time will tell.
The MRPA Garand match is April 18th at Monroe Rifle and Pistol Club outside of Dundee. We going to see you on the line with that fine rifle?

Sorry. I wanted to get it to the range this morning. The Winchester stock has already been removed. It is sporting post war rebuild furniture now. The stock and hand guards will be lightly cleaned up with acetone to get the dark color out of the wood and have a fresh coat of Tung Oil applied to make it pop.

Thanks for the invite . I will probably have to work. Things are busy right now and I don't think I could get away at the moment.

Looks pretty good except for that big white rectangle where the serial number is.

No it is the original finish. The chamber is in the white. Just a darker park. I played hell trying to get it in the right light due to the time of day.

I think the pictures will really start to hit next week when the majority of buyers who had their rifles shipped are delivered, no?

Here is my IHC (lighter wood) and HRA Correct grade. I'm still driving cross country but I'm anxious to get more details on them when I get home.

I can't express my gratitude to those who were eager to help me pick them out. It was only my second trip to the CMP and with all those with like minds together, it was awesome.

3am when I arrived.

Any idea when we will get to see the picture of us in line?
