Type 3 slide marking (Remington Rand Inc. Syracuse, N.Y.U.S.A.)
Very minor holster and action movement wear with finish missing at the top edge of the front & rear sights.
Barrel produced by High Standard.
Bore is clean with strong rifling.
Frame is factory stamped “3” at the left front trigger guard.
Slide lock,magazine, barrel & barrel link are inscribed “3”.
Includes extra parts and disassembly tools.
Not a CMP pistol, purchased from a private collection mid 1970s.
Very nice, clean, original, example of a WW2 Remington Rand 1911A1.
