Backorder question

When a certain grade of M1 Garand goes on backorder do they ever pull some from the store to fill some of the orders?

Yes they have pulled from the stores in the past. The one thing in your favor(I assume your back order is a RGS) is that they are still listed as available for mail order on the rifle sales page.

My backorder is a RGS, I was hoping they would since last week's South Store report said there was 10 there. I keep checking the sales page to make sure it hasn't changed.

I think if they foresee the back orders being filled soon they won't pull from the store, and the store stock would be a last ditch effort. I assume they have had a big response for the RGS's, more than they perhaps thought. Since they have to be built, I would give it a week or two. FWIW
