The belt is a standard pistol belt. I have one that I picked up in 1944 while I was in the USN. I believe was also worn by medics.

I would never get that lucky, though I did check it out just out of curiosity, Darrell Powers SN was 13066266. I'm still not sure what to do with the chemical tent, I bought it out of curiosity, Ill probably give it to a museum with that pic of it in use for a WW2 display.

I know this is an old post, but I found a home for it this weekend, the Fond du Lac, WI. retired Marines always have a table at the gunshow for donations for veterans, one gentleman in particular does some really nice displays "full battle gear mannequins" and military gear for educational, and VFW/Legion posts, I gave him a large printed picture of the ad, and the tent, he had never seen one before, or knew they existed, and was very glad to receive it, good to see it go to a home where people can see it and learn what our troops face in war.
